Happy New Year to all those who supported Chick Flick in 2009. Chick Flick are currently putting together plans to recored a new EP in 2010 whilst contining to rock in venues locally and hopefully interstate. Watch this space for the latest shows and progress of the new EP for 2010.
08.11.09 ROCKIN' AND ROLLIN' AT THE CLARENCE
Chick Flick return to the Clarence Corner Hotel to share the bill rehearsal room rockers Spank Sinatra. Yes it will be a spanky night of rock in roll, even better it's FREE. Come on down and have yourself and rock and roll on with a few drinks in hand from 9pm.
17.10.09 MELBOURNE WRAP UP
Chick Flick's first gig in Melbourne almost went off without a hitch. With a broken back window of the van, Chick Flick arrived at the Noise Bar in true rock and roll fashion. It was a great rock and roll show with a great bunch of new fans. Thanks to all local bands on the night including Rocket Queen, Tantalum and The Deep End.

03.10.09 CHICK FLICK TO ROCK MELBOURNE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Chick Flick have tightened their studded belts a little tighter leading up to their first gig in Melbourne next friday night, 9 October at The Noise Bar.
Melbourne fans have been asking when will Chick Flick arrive, so here we are with a great melbourne local line up of rock bands including Rocket Queen, Tantalum, The Deep End and The Red Jane guaranteed to get all swagging in perfect rock in roll motion.
Be sure to catch a glimpse that Queensland is talking about and get hooked on Chick Flick's rock hooks. You'll never be the same. Beginners welcome!

13.09.09 FAT LOUIES POST RIVERFIRE CRACKER!
Thanks to all for turning out to Fat Louies post Riverfire for our smokin live set by all bands. Chick Flick had a blast. Special thanks to Shellfin and New Jack Rubies for contributing to a blazing success.

Chick Flick have announced more gigs over the next couple of months starting with a night of rock and roll, Saturday 12 September at Fat Louies. So after Riverfire has fizzed out come on in and bash a few balls around the table whilst enjoying a great night of rock staggering with Chick Flick, New Jack Rubys and Shellfin. After a few overseas wee little trips Chick Flick are again back to rock at the Step Inn this Friday Night, 24 July for a mammoth night of rock with the likes local lads, Hotel 44, Speedracer and Desolution. 03.07.09 WORKING IT....WORKING IT....
A little quiet on the home front for Chick Flick?.....well a few overseas holidays for band members at the moment but a string of plans to hit on their return. From August systems are all go for Chick Flick with a Melbourne mini tour later in the year, a few gigs on the Brissy front, new photos and new tunes in the traps. 24.05.09 NEW STRINGS AND TUNE UPS!
It is with a heavy heart our bass player for Chick Flick, Mandy Skene will stretch her four strings in a new musical direction with her departure from Chick Flick. We wish her all the best in her new musical endevours, I'm sure you'll do us all proud, thanks for all the good times Mandy.
So with our newly annouced bass player, Kirsti Smith you'll see again a new spin to the Chick Flick rollercoaster of rockin' roll. With more gigs in the works and tunes to rock your socks that are on your feet or in your pants be sure to return for more updates. Stay in tune oh yeah!
01.05.09 THE TRAVEL BUG!
The chicks have caught not the pig virus but the travel bug! heading away over the next couple of months on oversea holidays, Africa, Thailand and Europe. Chick Flick will be back in force with some new announcements, gigs and Chick Flick antics in August 2009, stay tuned.

20.01.09 KICKSTART GIGS FOR 2009
Chick Flick are kicking off 2009 with their first gig back at The Clarence Cornerto steal your hearts away on Valentines Night, Saturday 14 February 2009. It's been a long time coming to get back to the Clarence, thanks for all those patient punters who have turned up and we weren't there. Along for the ride are punk rockers The Pretty Boys and Punkie and the Poison Pens. Best of all its FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Also happy to announce Tthe Flick will be heading back to Sydney for shows Thursday 19 March at the Lansdowne and more gig to follow across that weekend. More details shortly.

14.10.08 NSW MINI TOUR CONQUERED & THE BIZ
Let us paint a picture......four chicks lugging really heavy gear, driving and parking a 12 seater bus through tight Sydney streets, drying underwear whilst on the road to our next gigs some serious empty shot glasses and some of the greatest shows the Flick has endured thanks to all the bands, fans and friends we made over the weekend.
Special call out to Rusty and the Bulldoze all Bowlos boys, you are true rock n roll gentlemen.....we look forward to you coming to do some shows in Brisbane and us returning to The Gong!

28.07.07 - CHANGE OF DATE AND VENUE FOR REGIONAL FINAL
Please note the Global Battle of the Bands regional final that Chick Flick will be competing for a spot for the national final at has changed date and venue.
The new date is Sat 27 September from 3PM at Kitty O'Shea Irish Bar on Caxton Street. Chick Flick are still up for a chance to get to Sydney for the national final if you can make it on the 27th September to vote!.
24.07.07 - CHICK FLICK WIN GLOBAL BATTLE OF THE BAND HEAT
Chick Flick conquered first place in the battle of the bands yesterday moving straight into the regional final that will be held on 31 August 08 at the Red Room (UQ Uni, St Lucia) at 2pm.
Winners of the regional final will then move into the National finals in Sydney on 3 November. For Chick Flick to be in for a chance we need your help!!! Be sure to come down on the 31 August 08 to be apart of the vote to get Chick Flick to the regionals. Full details here

Quick thanks to all those that braved the cold wet weather on Thursday to come and see Chick Flick play at the Globe. We had alot of fun as usual, special shout out to Nick for his sound expertise and Dan on lights, Claire and our very own Chris on visuals. If you haven't had a chance to experience the Globe yet then your really missing out, the staff are great.
