Exciting news! - The new look Chick Flick website will be here very soon - one of the new features include a blog style news section where you can add comments on our news posts and more!

In the meantime - you may notice some of the features of this current site may disappear temporarily (such as our visual page) while we work on some slight virtual renovations - never fear though, it will all be back bigger and better very soon!

23/01/10 - New year for rock!

Happy New Year to all those who supported Chick Flick in 2009. Chick Flick are currently putting together plans to recorded a new EP in 2010 whilst continuing to rock in venues locally and hopefully interstate. Watch this space for the latest shows and progress of the new EP for 2010.

08/11/09 - Rockin’ and rollin’ at the clarence

Chick Flick return to the Clarence Corner Hotel to share the bill rehearsal room rockers Spank Sinatra. Yes it will be a spanky night of rock in roll, even better it’s FREE. Come on down and have yourself and rock and roll on with a few drinks in hand from 9pm.

17/10/09 - Melbourne wrap up

Chick Flick’s first gig in Melbourne almost went off without a hitch. With a broken back window of the van, Chick Flick arrived at the Noise Bar in true rock and roll fashion. It was a great rock and roll show with a great bunch of new fans. Thanks to all local bands on the night including Rocket Queen, Tantalum and The Deep End.

03/10/09 - Chick Flick to rock Melbourne for the first time

Chick Flick have tightened their studded belts a little tighter leading up to their first gig in Melbourne next friday night, 9 October at The Noise Bar.

Melbourne fans have been asking when will Chick Flick arrive, so here we are with a great melbourne local line up of rock bands including Rocket Queen, Tantalum, The Deep End and The Red Jane guaranteed to get all swagging in perfect rock in roll motion.

Be sure to catch a glimpse that Queensland is talking about and get hooked on Chick Flick’s rock hooks. You’ll never be the same. Beginners welcome!

13/09/09 - Fat Louies post riverfire cracker!

Thanks to all for turning out to Fat Louies post Riverfire for our smokin live set by all bands. Chick Flick had a blast. Special thanks to Shellfin and New Jack Rubies for contributing to a blazing success.

Chick Flick’s next gig is at the Globe Theatre on Thur 24 September. Yes its a school night however you are in for a treat, Circus acts and dances are part of the show with european act Lord Byron coming all this way to present their rock show to you. Check out our

03/09/09 - Gigging and site pimping!

Chick Flick have announced more gigs over the next couple of months starting with a night of rock and roll, Saturday 12 September at Fat Louies. So after Riverfire has fizzed out come on in and bash a few balls around the table whilst enjoying a great night of rock staggering with Chick Flick, New Jack Rubys and Shellfin. 10/08/09 - Double Clarence Trouble!

Chick Flick hit the Clarence Corner the next two saturdays in a row. That’s right some serious double weekend rockin fun! Saturday 15 August Chick Flick play along side locals Hotel 44 and Goldstein. Saturday 22 August a chick night of rock with Daisy May and the Pretty Boys. All for FREE ENTRY. Check out gig guide for full details.

02/08/09 - New photoshoot and O’Malley’s this friday!

Chick Flick once endured another rockin’ photoshoot with brisbane photographer extraordinaire, Marc Grimwade. With the likes of leather and women in uniform you are in for a treat when released on our website etc shortly. Watch this space!

Don’t forget Chick Flick will hit O’Malleys, wintergarden this friday night with a full night of entertainment playing all your fave rockin’ tunes. See you at the bar!!!!!

22/07/09 - Chick Flick at The Step Inn this friday night!

After a few overseas wee little trips Chick Flick are again back to rock at the Step Inn this Friday Night, 24 July for a mammoth night of rock with the likes local lads, Hotel 44, Speedracer and Desolution.
